More than 400 people made contributions to restore student's access to public transportation after the reduction in hours of S-Pass ridership.

Baltimore’s City Council Education and Youth Committee will make an announcement about bus rides for students after school activities Tuesday.

According to local officials, "Back on the Bus: A Valentine to Baltimore's Children", is their Valentine to the children of Baltimore.

The Student S-Pass provides free rides to students of Baltimore City Schools who participate in after school programs.

Last year, community members were outraged after the S-Pass policy was changed, ending rides at 6 p.m.

Tuesday's announcementwill take place at City Hall at 4p.m.
