A 44-year-old man not wearing his seatbelt, died Sunday after crashing into parked cars, according to Baltimore City Police.

Around 11 a.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Hollins Street for a fatal crash.

Police discovered Ricardo Cuoto of Odenton unconscious in a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country. He was transported to Shock Trauma where he died shortly later.

Investigators believe Cuoto was traveling eastbound on Hollins Street when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a parked vehicle on the south side of the street, causing a chain reaction with other parked vehicles.

Cuoto's vehicle came to a rest in the middle of the street.

The parked vehicles were unoccupied. Detectives believe speed played a factor in the crash.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine if alcohol or drugs contributed.
