BALTIMORE (WMAR) — A teen is accused of killing a 73-year-old patient inside University of Maryland Hospital on Wednesday.
Baltimore Police say 15-year-old Andrew Gaudet was also a patient at the hospital, when for some reason he left his room and went into the victim's room and attacked her.
The woman suffered multiple injuries to the face, and died a day later. Her name hasn't been released.
Police charged Gaudet as an adult with First-Degree Attempted Murder, Assault, and six counts of Second-Degree Assault.
An autopsy will determine the victim's official cause of death.
