BALTIMORE — Eight people were shot and three were killed in shootings just a few hours apart.
Monday around 7:33 p.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Park Heights Avenue at Quantico Avenue for a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three more victims, a 26-year-old woman, a 17-year-old man and a 22-year-old man walked into local hospitals and were all suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives learned that the victims were hanging in front of a corner store at Park Heights and Quantico when two unknown men opened fire at the group. The gunmen then fled the location back towards the same direction they came from.
A few minutes later, around 7:48 p.m., Baltimore Police responded to Sinai Hospital for a shooting victim receiving treatment. Upon arrival, officers located a 22 year-old woman who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The woman was pronounced dead a short time later.
Detectives learned that the victim was shot in the 5200 block of Fairlawn Avenue by an unknown shooter.
Tuesday, just after 1:00a.m., Baltimore Police responded to an apartment in the 4700 Block of Liberty Heights Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
All three victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. One of the victims, a 19 year-old male, was pronounced dead a 1:45 a.m.
At this time, there is no information on the remaining victims.
