BALTIMORE — Starting Wednesday afternoon, a portion of westbound Franklintown Road will temporarily close for repair work, according to the Baltimore City Department of Transportation.
According to the release, westbound Franklintown Road will be closed to traffic between Winans Way and Forest Park Avenue with detours in effect. Various detour signs will be posted in the area to alert motorists of the closure.
This portion of westbound Franklintown Road is expected to remain closed for approximately two months until repairs are complete, so motorists traveling in this area should lookout for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
