San Antonio Spur's small forward Rudy Gay brings his basketball tournamentto Baltimore this weekend, but this year's roster adds a new educational technology partner.
Gay's Annual High School Showcase provides a platform for EVERFI, Inc. and the Flight 22 Foundation to connect with students at 22 schools across Baltimore for access to entrepreneurship education via the tech company's digital tools.
The program is an interactive, web-based course meant to teach students to think inventively about business and life, attacking both like an entrepreneur. The educational program uses case studies, interactive business simulations, and personal development activities to teach key business skills.
The technology will be made available to Baltimore students during the 2017-18 school year.
