BALTIMORE — Starting on Wednesday, BWI Marshall Airport will temporarily close its Runway 10 and temporarily shorten Runway 28 by about 2,000 feet.

The work will accommodate an airfield construction project and is not expected to significantly affect airline operations.

Local residents may notice a temporary change in airline flight patterns near BWI Marshall Airport during the construction. Runway 15R-33L, BWI Marshall’s other major commercial runway, will remain open and available.
