BALTIMORE — In the last two days, hundreds of first responders and volunteers have helped support the explosion victims to get them back on their feet.
Tonight the American Red Cross gave out hundreds of meals to first responders and the victims. Their efforts and those of community organizations and donations are keeping people going.
A group called World Central Kitchen has distributed over a thousand meals to families in this neighborhood since yesterday.
“No matter what you say bad about Baltimore City, the folks here are what give the city its charm. They come together during times of tragedy and crisis. The community level of support the communal-ism that’s been shown seems as if there was a plan of action. The only plan was to help people and alleviate the pain that’s been caused by this unfortunate event.”
If you want to help people moving forward, they don’t need any clothes and have a lot of water— but there is a need for personal hygiene products.
