Hundred of kids in Baltimore will be extra warm this winter thanks to the collaborative effort of Archbishop William Lori and the Knights of Columbus.
Archbishop Lori handed out 1,000 coats Tuesday at St. Peter Claver Church in the Sandtown-Winchester community.
"It's a little act of generosity, but like all little acts of generosity, the rewards are tremendous," Archbishop Lori said. "The smile on the faces of the young people receiving these coats is a joy to behold."
The coats were provided by the funding efforts of the Knights of Columbus, which does this every year.
