BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting which left one man dead.
It happened on North Chester Street around 6 p.m. on Monday.
Police say two groups of people got into an argument, which led to gunfire and a man getting shot in the leg. Someone with the victim retaliated and opened fire.
Baltimore City Police arrived on scene and an officer shot at that second gunman, who later died at the hospital.
No officers were hurt in the shooting and there is an internal investigation into the incident.
The man shot in the leg is recovering tonight.
