BALTIMORE — The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services said an employee died from COVID-19 complications.
According to the department, the employee was a correctional officer in their 60s.
The officer was at a Baltimore facility.
In keeping with medical privacy laws, the Department is not naming the officer or further discussing the case.
