Baltimore Firefighter arrested on attempted murder charges in connection to Thursday shooting

BALTIMORE — Just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, police were dispatched to a home in the area of 600 Stamford Road for a report of a shooting.

After arriving at the scene, officers observed a 23-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Detectives subsequently arrested 58 year-old Craig White. They believe that the shooting stemmed from a physical altercation between the victim and Mr. White.

Detectives transported Craig White to Central Booking where he has been charged with attempted first and second degree murder.

White is a Baltimore City firefighter.
