PHOTOS: Baltimore's Jewish community spends Christmas volunteering
13th annual Mitzvah Day
This Christmas, many in Baltimore's Jewish community took part in the 13th annual Mitzvah Day, providing services to organizations in need throughout the area. Volunteers assisted in shelters, soup kitchens, and senior facilities, making sandwiches and no-sew blankets, packing winter care packages, and decorating Mitzvah cards and tzedakah boxes. They hope to have impacted over 4,000 people throughout the community.
