Baltimore Police are investigating two early Thursday morning shootings.
The first shooting of the morning happened in the 5300 block of Frankford Avenue. On the scene, officers found a 21 year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. He was taken to an area hospital and is in serious condition.
Detectives leading the investigation discovered the victim was in the area when two unknown males were seated inside of a black Honda Accord that was parked in the block. The passenger of the Accord attempted to pull the victim inside of the car, then shot the victim in the torso. The victim was able to run away as the vehicle sped away.
At 2: 25 a.m., Central District officers responded to an area hospital where a shooting victim had just walked in. There, they found a 26 year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds to the left arm and left leg. That victim is in stable condition and should make a full recovery.
Detectives and have learned that the victim was on Callow Avenue in Reservoir Hill when he was approached by two unknown black males who robbed him. One of the suspects shot the victim after taking the victim's belongings.
The victim flagged down a vehicle and got a ride to an area hospital.
