Three people hospitalized; Baltimore Police investigate the two Saturday morning shootings

BALTIMORE — Police are investigating two shootings that both happened on Saturday morning.

The first happened at about 2:35 a.m. when patrol officers were called to the 2200 block of Orem for a report of a shooting. Once at the location, officers found a man that was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where his condition is currently unknown.

The second shooting happened at a little before 10:30 a.m. in Southeast Baltimore. Patrol officers were called to the 2400 block of East Fayette Street for a report of a shooting. Once they arrived, officers located a 22-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the hip and a 43-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the thigh.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
