Baltimore Police investigates three overnight shootings that injured two and killed one

BALTIMORE — Police are investigating three over night shootings in Baltimore, injuring two and killing one.

Tuesday night. Eastern district officer were on the scene of a reported shooting in the 800 block of McAleer Court, when the found 35 year-old Demtrious Rich suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

Citywide Shooting and Homicide detectives were called to lead the investigation due his injuries. Rich was taken transported to an area hospital where he is listed in serious condition.

Officers are called to the of two shootings on the city's west-side early Wednesday morning.

The first shooting occurred after midnight in the 1000 block of West Lexington Street. Western district officers arrived to the location and found a 27 year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to the back and graze wounds to the arm and hip.

He was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

At 4:40 a.m., when officers from the Northwest district responded to a shooting in the 3600 block of Marmon Avenue . There, a 20 year-old man was found with gunshot wounds to the chest and neck.

Medics arrived to the location and pronounced the victim deceased.

Thursday, police identified the victim as 20-year-old Tavon Wilson of the 3700 block of Glen Avenue.
