Baltimore Police looking for August aggravated assault suspect

BALTIMORE — Warrant Apprehension detectives are asking for the public's help locating an aggravated assault suspect.

Police say 39-year-old Asia Woodard is wanted for the assault of a 68 year-old man that occurred on August 20, 2019 in the 1500 block of Moreland Avenue.

She's 5 feet 2 inches and, weighs approximately 175 lbs, and was last known to live in the 800 block of Homestead Street.

On that date, Asia Woodard was working as a caregiver in an assisted living home when she got into a dispute with one of her patients. Police say Woodard proceeded to punch, kick, and choke her victim, causing visible physical injuries.

The victim was hospitalized as a result of the assault.
