BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Police Marine Unit announced on Tuesday that beginning July 5, they will no longer provide any services to Baltimore or the surrounding areas as mutual aid until further notice.
They announced this via Facebook post on Tuesday, stating in part:
"The Marine Unit will no longer be able to respond to any calls for service end of shift July 4, 2020 after 2300 hours. Thank you to our massive waterside communities for your continued unwavering support from 1860 to 2020. We love all our communities we served and are grateful for the relationships and bonds we have forged."
