Victim dies in triple shooting in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Two people were taken to the hospital and another person was killed after a shooting in Southwest Baltimore.

On January 27 at about 1:25 p.m., officers were called to the 400 block of South Bentalou Street to investigate a “Shot Spotter Alert”.

When officers arrived on scene, they looked around the area and found a crime scene in the 2200 block of Ashton Street. Officers discovered three victims, aged 15, 24 and 31, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Southwest District detectives were summoned to the scene. Due to the severity of injuries sustained, Homicide detectives also responded.

On Sunday, the 31 year-old victim died from his injuries.
