Baltimore City High School students spent their Giving Tuesday giving back to the homeless in the city.

Students in the Building STEPS program handed out 150 winter care packages that they made to Health Care for the Homeless. In each package, there were blankets and gloves to keep people warm during the cold winter months.

Councilman Zeke Cohen was also with the students handing out packages.

"This is why I love Baltimore so much. We have young people who may have had their own challenges and struggles, but are out here giving because they believe in this city," said Baltimore City Councilman Zeke Cohen.

The project was led by the Building STEPS alumni council.
