BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Officials say they're investigating after a student was attacked by a group of other students inside a Baltimore City Public School bathroom.

It happened Wednesday at the Blueford Drew Jemison STEM Academy West on Harlem Avenue.

A video of the incident was caught on video and has been circulating around on social media.

WMAR-2 News has obtained the video but has decided not to show it due to its graphic nature.

A school spokesperson said counselors, social workers, and psychologists were available to students on Thursday who may have been affected by the incident.

The school added that appropriate action would be taken in accordance with the City Schools' Code of Conduct and the law.

It's unclear if any of the students involved have been charged. The condition of the victim is unknown.
