BALTIMORE (WMAR) — It's official, Ben's Chili Bowl is now open in Baltimore.
On Thursday the grand opening was held at its new location at the Baltimore Market Place, on the first level of Horseshoe Casino.
Several local leaders were in attendance and even volunteered as servers throughout the day.
Organizations who sent volunteers to help out were rewarded with a $2000 charitable donation for their community engagement.
Ben's first opened its doors 60-years ago in Washington D.C.
Some of America's most famous people, from past presidents to athletes and singers have dined there.
