BALTIMORE — On Wednesday, an entire block of housing will be demolished in West Baltimore.
Crews are set to demolish homes along the 500 block of Baker Street around 10:30 a.m. The move is part of the Mayor Catherine Pugh's goal to bring the number of vacant homes in the city below 15,000.
After the homes are torn down, 10 new homes will be built in their place. They'll be known as the Bakers View Townhomes.
