Carjacker stole Jeep while 1-year-old still inside in East Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a robbery and abduction that happened last week.

Police said, on June 6, a man driving a black Jeep Cherokee, was carjacked at gunpoint in the 2300 block of East North Avenue. During the robbery, the man's 1-year-old daughter was still inside the Jep.

According to police, officers found the toddler a short time later in the 2000 block of East 20th Street. The child was unharmed and taken to an area hospital as a precautionary measure.

Officers were not able to recover the stolen Jeep with a Maryland tag 3CP9904.
