BALTIMORE — A local program giving back to the community is celebrating its first year as a Catholic Charities program.

Last July, My Brothers Keeper joined Catholic Charities. In the last year, the meal and job training program has been able to expand its services.

"Since My Brother's Keeper joined Catholic Charities in July of 2018, we've moved the meal serving program from five days a week to seven days a week, 365-days a year. The average number of persons we serve in the meal program has grown from 20 persons in July and August to five to 80 persons daily," said Kevin Mason, Program Director.

My Brothers Keeper also recognized for its contributions to the community by AT&T. The company presented a $20,000 check to help expand its services.
