Ceasefire underway in Baltimore City

Local activists call for a violent-free weekend in Baltimore City. 

The fourth ceasefire started at Midnight Friday. Organizers asked that "no one kill anybody" for 72 hours.     

This year's event will coincide with Mother's Day weekend to remind residents about the mothers whoes children were killed as a result of gun violence in Baltimore City. 

There are several events scheduled during the ceasefire including rallies, block parties and community forums.

According to officials, their have been 101 homicdes in Baltimore City so far this year.
