BALTIMORE — Charging documents reveal how an 11-year-old boy witnessed his mother's horrific murder.

It all started just after 12:30 p.m. on July 13, inside a home in the 1100 block of Comet Court.

The child was upstairs in his bedroom, when he heard loud noises coming from the kitchen and his mother screaming "no, no, no."

Downstairs the boy recounted seeing his mother laying on the floor bleeding, and "Mike" standing over her with a knife in his hand.

The boy pleaded with "Mike" to stop. He did and dropped the knife, before walking shirtless out the backdoor of the home.

As "Mike" was walking away, the child told police he yelled outside to neighbors to let them know "Mike" had just hurt his mother.

The child then called 911 himself.

When police arrived, they found 35-year-old Freska Yerby laying on the kitchen floor, bleeding heavily. Police wrote in court documents, that several knives were found next to her body. She died on scene.

Detectives later showed the boy a photo of Michael Biscotti and asked if that's who hurt his mother. The child said yes.

After four days on the run, Biscotti was arrested last Friday.

Biscotti, 63, is currently being held without bail. A preliminary court hearing has been scheduled for September 1.
