A meeting aimed at taking a deeper look as to what happened in the Baltimore Police Department takes place Tuesday in Annapolis.
This is the second meeting of the 'Commission to Restore Trust in Policing' and the group will focus on the disgraced Gun Trace Task Force, while also looking at other aspects of the Baltimore Police Department.
Several topics that are on the agenda include the structure and organization of the Baltimore City Police Department, the establishment and history of the Gun Trace Task Force, the Internal Affairs Division of the Baltimore City Police Department, and the Civilian Review Board of Baltimore City.
This state probe comes after eight Baltimore Police Officers were convicted of racketeering during their time on the Gun Trace Task Force. There, some of the officers were accused of drug dealing, robberies, planting guns, and more.
