BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Station and community members came together to celebrate the opening of a new garden in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood on Tuesday.

The garden provides green space for West Baltimore residents and homeless veterans. It will be used for counseling sessions, art and journaling classes, Tai Chi, and other alternative therapeutic activities that are key to the residents' recoveries.

The Baltimore Station is an organization that supports individuals dealing with homelessness and substance use disorders by providing residential and community-based therapy programs.
