BALTIMORE — Pushback tonight over a plan to build a parking lot in a Baltimore City green space.
Baltimore City Recreation and Parks is renovating the Druid Hill Park Pool and part of that design includes a parking lot.
The agency says when it originally heard public comment about the design, no one was concerned about the parking lot, so the agency proceeded with the design.
But at a meeting tonight, the Executive Director of Bikemore spoke out against it.
The renovation plan still has to be approved by the land use committee and the city council.
