BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Maryland Transportation Authority Police say a man's body was recovered from the water following a crash on the Key Bridge Friday.
It all started around 10 a.m. when a truck crashed into the disabled Honda in the southbound inner loop of I-695.
Police say the victim was the driver of the Honda, but was outside of the vehicle when it was struck.
The collision caused the man to fall over the bridge and into the water. He was deceased when Marine Units recovered found him.
His name hasn't yet been released.
The crash caused both southbound lanes to shut down for about two hours.
It's unclear what caused the truck to crash into the victim's car. There's no word if any charges will be filed.
