Five new businesses are coming to Federal Hill's Cross Street Market.

The historic market is under currently under a complete renovation. On Tuesday, developers announced an initial tenant line up.

Five mainstays to the market were revealed, they include Fenwick’s Choice Meats, Nunnally Bros. Choice Meats, Smoke, Steve’s Lunch, and The Sweet Shoppe.

Ceremony Coffee, Phubs, and Sobeachy will join the tenant line-up. They are new to the market but have an existing Baltimore presence.

Two new restaurants that are entirely new to Baltimore will debut when the market opens. They include Burger Bar and Rice Crook.

Earlier this year WMAR-2 News got a look at the first changes to the market. The new layout of the market will feature more natural sunlight. Developers are also reusing the shell of the market and replacing everything inside from the walls and stalls to the floors and plumbing.

"Once complete the market the aesthetics of the market will have a retro feel reminiscent of its reconstruction in the 1950's with some classic modern touches that will make it attractive for decades to come, said Caves Valley Partners Partner Arsh Mirmiran.

Additional leases have been signed and will be announced later. When renovations are complete Cross Street Market will house nearly 30 independently owned and operated vendors by Spring 2019.
