The Coast Guard and Carnival Cruise Lines are investigating what caused a ship to crash into the passenger walkway as it docked in Baltimore Sunday morning.
Three cars were damaged when the Carnival Pride, on a return voyage from the Bahamas, crashed into the elevated walkway used for passengers to disembark. The walkway fell and crushed three port vehicles parked on the pier. There were no injuries.
The ship has minor damage limited to a small mooring deck platform on the starboard side. Carnival said the ship is expected to sail as scheduled.
