Donations needed after dog found shot in the face

Baltimore City Animal Control responded to a call on Monday morning that led them to find a stray dog with a bullet wound injury to the face.

The dog was found laying on a porch in the West Forest Park neighborhood and was rushed to the ER and X-Rays confirmed that the pup, named Fred's facial injury was from a bullet wound.

While in the ER, the team traced his microchip information and found a distraught owner who had been searching for him since the day before.

Fred is still under BARCS care at the Franky Fund hospital and BARCS is seeking donations to pay for Fred’s emergency care and surgery to save his life.
