Baltimore City firefighters rescued two people in separate early morning incidents, officials said.
Around 3:45 a.m. fire crews responded to a house fire in the 600 block of N. Curley Street. When units arrived neighbors told firefighters a person was trapped inside. Rescuers entered the rowhome and found a person trapped upstairs. The fire victim was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.
Then, just before 7:30 units were called to a two-car crash in the intersection of President Street and Baltimore Street.
