BALTIMORE — A former Baltimore Police Sergeant was found guilty on Friday of the unprovoked assault of a woman that occurred in 2018.
According to the State Attorney's Office, in August 2018, the defendant was on duty and in uniform as a Baltimore City Police Officer arrived on the scene at Custom House Drive to back-up another officer for a disorderly conduct call, when he pushed, punched and knocked down a female without legal justification, causing injury to her head and back.
Marlon Koushall, faces up to 10 years for the second-degree assault and is scheduled to be sentenced on November 7.
