Four men shot, one killed in West Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Four people were shot, one fatally, Thursday afternoon near Druid Hill Park, Baltimore Police said.

Officers responded to the 2800 block of Parkwood Avenue at about 11:17 a.m. after being prompted by a Shotspotter alert. Police arrived on the scene of what would later be determined a quadruple shooting in the Parkview/Woodbrook neighborhood.

Police found three adult male victims at the scene. One had a gunshot wound to the stomach. A 27-year-old man was shot in the shoulder. A 39-year-old man had been shot in the leg. Shortly thereafter, a man with a graze wound arrived at an area hospital.

All four men were being treated at an area hospital. WMAR-2 News Reporter Erin MacPherson responded to the scene and was informed one of the victims was in critical condition.

By 4 p.m. Thursday, police said one victim of the shooting died from his injuries at the hospital. Police did not say which victim or if it was the victim originally reported to be in critical condition.

On April 16, police identified the victim as 20-year-old Levar Mullen, of the 10000 block of Jason Lane. he was killed in the 2200 block of Ruskin Avenue.

Police blocked off several roads throughout the area of Woodbrook Avenue, Ruskin Avenue and Reisterstown Road. Officers searched the area for spent casings as a few cars were hit by bullets, MacPherson said.
