Four people shot Saturday night in Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Four people were shot Saturday night in Baltimore.

On Saturday at about 7:42 p.m., officers were on Pennsylvania Avenue at West North Avenue when they heard several gunshots in the area.

As officers searched the area, a ShotSpotter alert directed them to the 1700 block of North Carey Street, where they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body.

Both victims were taken to area hospitals where they are expected to survive.

At 9:51 p.m. on Saturday, Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 2700 block of West Coldspring Lane for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

A couple hours later at about 11:30 p.m., officers were in the 1800 block of North Mount Street when a citizen approached them and told them a person was shot in the 1700 block of West North Avenue.

Officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.
