BALTIMORE — Thanksgiving is tomorrow and organizations across the country are working to make sure everyone enjoys a warm meal this year.
This afternoon, the Franciscan Center in Northwest Baltimore fed hundreds of homeless people. Mayor Jack Young was there as well to help serve meals.
"We are serving our community our family," said Jeffrey Griffin, Executive Director of the Franciscan Center. "We believe Thanksgiving is about family and there's many ways family can look like. This is our family and so we're blessed that we're able to serve."
Volunteers served more than 700 meals today.
