Some local girls got an up-close look at what it's like to work for BGE during the company's Construction Camp Monday.
They participated in hands-on cable splicing and observed utility pole climbing.
The girls are part of the National Association for Women in Construction's Mentoring a Girl in Construction Camp.
The campers also met successful female BGE field workers.
