HBO releases 'The Immortal life of Henrietta Lacks' a story based on the true story of a woman whose cells were used in several genetic research advancements.
Science took her cells. Family reclaimed her story.

Lacks was a patient at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore during the early 1950's.

In December, Former Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake honored the legacy of Henrietta Lacks through a portrait dedication at City Hall.

The well-anticipated movie is scheduled to air at 8 p.m on April 22.
