BALTIMORE — The Jewish Volunteer Connection has teamed up with the community for the Casserole Challenge.
Residents made and donated casseroles to help feed those in need. The casseroles are being donated to local organizations for people to eat Tuesday night.
"My daughter is here with me today and it’s just amazing to be able to get her involved with my sons Micah and Noah. They're really excited and I do think they realize what they're doing to contribute to help fight food insecurity and make sure people have warm food on their tables this year just by lifting them out of people's trunks and getting them here."
Volunteers say about 700 casseroles were donated.
