BALTIMORE, Md. — West Wednesdays held their 300th demonstration alongside Johns Hopkins students who are still continuing to protest having a private police force on their campus.

West Wednesdays is a demonstration held every Wednesday to honor the life of Tyrone West who died in police custody in July 2013.

West's sister Tawanda Jones continues to fight to bring her brother and others in the community justice every single Wednesday since.

"It's for all the victims of police brutality, terror, and or murder," said Tawanda," It is very important because if you notice what is going on around the world, they are not slowing up on murdering people, and I'm not anti-police; I'm anti-police brutality."

On Wednesday night, West joined forces with students from Johns Hopkins University to help bring them justice.
