They arrived in Baltimore just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning and were taken to Central Booking.
Police say Keith and Valeria Smith murdered Keith’s wife, Jacquelyn, back in December in East Baltimore. The two later made up a story about a panhandler doing it.
Police have not talked about a motive for the murder, but members of Jacquelyn Smith's family have said they believe it had something to do with money.

The Smiths were arrested in Texas, near the U.S.-Mexico border, earlier this month. They’ve been denied bail and were extradited from Texas Wednesday, but their flight was delayed.
