Local women comprised of leaders, advocates, and various organizations joined forces at the Baltimore's State Center to highlight the issues of women in the Baltimore community.

The event took place 110 days before the primary election in hopes that their voices would be heard in the fight for the state of the women in Baltimore. The women spoke on various issues such as:

• Fight for $15

• Criminal justice

• Gun violence

• Public education

• Immigration

• #MeToo

“This strong coalition of women-led organizations is working together to amplify the state of women in Baltimore, particularly how women are affected by failed policies, and how we can work together to overcome this,” said Odette Ramos, Co-Chair of Baltimore Women United, one of the organizing groups.
