Man, 25, shot while trying to sell his dog

Baltimore Police say a man was shot Friday evening after trying to sell his pet.

Officers say they were notified of a walk-in shooting victim around 7:30 p.m.

When they arrived, police say the 25-year-old man was being treated for a gunshot wound to the side. The victim is in stable condition.

 According to police, the victim said he was in the 6700 block of Reisterstown Road trying to sell his dog to someone. At some point in the transaction, things went left and the victim was shot.

Police have identified a person of interest in this incident.
