Man injured following a Wednesday shooting in West Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Police say a man was injured early Wednesday morning in a West Baltimore shooting.

At a little after 3:35 a.m, officers were called to the 2000 block of North Pulaski Street to investigate a reported shooting. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 43-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower leg.

Western District shooting detectives later learned that the victim ran to Pulaski Street after being shot in the 2000 block of North Smallwood Street.
