Man is in serious condition Sunday, following a shooting in Park Heights

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police said a man is in serious condition after being shot Sunday afternoon in on the city's west-side.

At 1:59 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Park Heights Avenue and Belvedere Avenue where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

He was taken to an area hospital.

Just after 5:00 p.m., Southwest District were called to investigate a shooting in the 100 block of Edgewood Street. On the scene, they found a 22 year-old man with a shooting injury to his body.

Police said he was conscious and alert as he was taken to an area hospital. He later told detectives he was shot by two men wearing hoodies.
