Man shot in Northeast Baltimore after attempted armed robbery

BALTIMORE — A man was shot in Northeast Baltimore after an attempted armed robbery.

On Sunday at about 12:48 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 6400 block of Pulaski Hwy, for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 40-year-old man shot in the leg.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the 6400 block of Pulaski Hwy when he was approached by two unidentified suspects .

Police say the suspects produced a gun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim informed the suspects that he did not possess any property.

The suspect then shot the victim in the leg before fleeing the location on foot.
