BALTIMORE — A man is in the hospital after he was shot in the back of the head in Southwest Baltimore.
On Sunday at about 10:13 a.m., officers responded to the 5400 block of Jamestown Court for a shooting.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of his head.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in critical condition.
Homicide detectives were called in to investigate because of the seriousness of the victim’s injuries.
